As I watched the Julie and Julia Movie, I was inspired by the courage of Julie Powell to take her passion for cooking to a new level - to cook and to write about it.
I am a wife, a mother to my wonderful son, a homeschooler, and a part-time sales/hr person. Among my roles, I love being a wife and mom for these allow me to take care of my loved ones by cooking for them. Similar to Julie, at the end of each day (especially the bad hair days), I am comforted by the thought that I can cook and pour out my creative enery into something enjoyable and fun.
I always have this urge to cook, cook, and cook. I devote long hours thinking about a recipe that I learn. Parties and gatherings are welcome treats to serve food to family and friends.
